Dropbox Integration

Overture now integrates seamlessly with Dropbox, enabling you to back up and share your Invoices, Contracts, Statements, and Itineraries directly within your workflow. This feature ensures that your team always has access to the latest versions of important documents via Dropbox.

Setting Up Dropbox Integration

To get started, ensure your company has a dedicated Dropbox account. Note that each Overture domain can only sync with one Dropbox account, not on a per-user basis.

  1. Go to Settings in Overture and select Dropbox from the sidebar.
  2. Click Allow Overture to Access Your Dropbox Folder. You will be redirected to the Dropbox authentication screen. Log in to Dropbox if you’re not already signed in.
  3. Click Allow to complete the setup. Once done, a folder named Apps will appear in your Dropbox account, containing a subfolder called Overture. All published documents will sync here automatically.

Editing and Syncing Documents

If needed, you can edit documents directly in Dropbox. For example, after making changes to a document in your Dropbox folder, save it, and the updated version will automatically sync with Overture. This ensures that all team members can access the most current version of the document, and you can confidently send it from Overture knowing it’s up to date.

Uploading Historical Documents

To add all historical documents to Dropbox, click the Upload Existing Documents to Dropbox button in the Dropbox settings. This process may take some time and will be added to a processing queue.

We’re confident this feature will enhance collaboration and organisation for your team.
