Can External Users See 100% Commission Service Lines in Overture?
In Overture, service lines with less than 100% commission are visible to external users who have financial permissions activated. However, 100% commission service lines are hidden unless the following feature is activated.

Enabling 100% Commission Service Line Visibility
Once enabled, external users with permissions to view financials will see 100% commission service lines across all relevant areas, including the booking page and financial statements. Agencies must ensure they are fully comfortable with this level of transparency before enabling the feature, as artists will see all service lines.
In this example, 100% of the deposit is being paid to the agency. With the setting activated, the external user will see this service line.

Situations Where 100% Commission Service Lines Are Useful
Using 100% commission service lines can be necessary in specific scenarios to reflect the full fee as agency commission. Here are some common examples:
- Agency-Exclusive Services: When the agency exclusively manages a service or booking, such as event promotion or artist management, the full fee may be designated as commission.
- Administrative Fees: Services like administrative or processing fees may use 100% commission to reflect that the fee entirely goes to the agency for operational costs.
- Adjustments or Refunds: Financial adjustments or corrections to bookings may temporarily classify the full fee as 100% commission until reconciliation is completed.
- Regional or Legal Compliance: In certain regions, legal or contractual agreements often dictate how commission splits must be structured, requiring 100% commission lines in certain cases.
Important Considerations
If this setting is activated, artists and managers with financial permissions will see 100% commission service lines in every location where bookings are visible in Overture. It is crucial that the agency or Overture user is confident that artists (who have permission to view financials) can see all service lines before enabling this feature.
