Did you know that if you name a service line “Booking Fee” (spelled exactly this way), Overture automatically adjusts the structure of that service line? This feature is particularly useful when charging a promoter or client a fee for your services.
When you label a service line as “Booking Fee,” the system removes the Commission and Commission VAT fields, simplifying the booking fee setup and keeping it separate from other financial elements.
After saving:
As with other service types, you can store the “Booking Fee” as a default option in the system settings. To do this, navigate to Settings > Bookings > Default Services and Products to set it up for future use.
This functionality streamlines the process for applying and managing booking fees, ensuring that they are handled separately and clearly in your financial summaries.
